(More customer reviews)This product that was sent to me was a complete rip off.The product was made of poor materials, the pre-cut holes would not line up so you could not open the top or bottom.The glass front was bearly being held in place, the product was damaged, scratched and dented.Called to send back, first refused so I had to file a complaint with Amazon.Then they would not speak with me because I filed a complaint.Amazon then told me to ship it out and insure it.I sent it out and got it returned due to shipping damages "the box had boot prints and knuckle prints after it spent two days in the warehouse".Told me to file a claim.UPS told me that it should of been shipped in 4 inch thick styrofoam packaging "i shipped it the same exact was it was shipped to me" and since I was the shipper I was out of luck.Amazon said they would do nothing about it.You could seriously by this product from Wal-Mart for $99.99, it is pressboard with a really cheap oak wall-paper like covering.I will never deal with this company again.Now I wont deal with amazon for allowing people to get ripped off and for them to pass the blame when I followed there protocol.

(More customer reviews)I have had he-240 Brother sewing embroidery machine for a month now, I love it.It is very easy to learn how to use the embroidery part! When I did have problems it was because I made the errors.The machine can only do a 4x4 area, which is great to start with but if you want a lager area, look at a different Brother machine.There is a large hoop that will fit this machine, but you can only do a 4x4 design, but the hoop is great when you want to do 2 designs close together.This hoop is sold in a set with a pocket hoop and another 4x4 hoop, this is a great set and deal.I hope this helps you!

Juki 2-Needle, 2/3/4/5-Thread Overlock Machine MO-735 Review

(More customer reviews)I researched for nearly two years before deciding on getting the Juki MO735 5 thread two needle serger with coverstitch. What I found with the Juki is a solidly build mechanical machine that has all the stitches I wanted in a serger but most importantly, the quality of stitches that are superb, balanced and even. It is easy to thread compared to other brands without the jet air. The lower looper has a threading helper built into the machine which places the thread exactly where it needs to be in a hard to reach elbow of the looper. It is very easy to switch to rolled hem, a simple switch slides the stitch finger to a narrow setting, an adjustment to the cutting width, stitch length made for fast conversion. It has lay-in tension discs which aid in the ease of threading this machine. I find the standard tension setting to work for most of the stitches which means there is near zero fiddling with the tensions to get the stitches to look balanced, there is an not auto tenion featute. If I sew with heavy threads or fabric, then adjustment is necessary and to be expected. Although I have not used the chainstitch yet it's threading looks to be straight forward. Coverhem is also beautiful. At first I had trouble with threading for coverhem but that was more to operator error than the machine. The machine comes with two packs of needles. The Juki uses both household 103/705H and JLx2 needles. The household needle capacity is a huge bonus as it is hard to find the JLx2. A nice vinyl pouch with accessories comes standard including spool caps, thread nets, screw driver, and coverhem pressure foot. Also clip-on waiste bin, small tube of sewing machine oil, a pack of JLx2 serger needles, a pack of Schmetz Univeral needles and coverhem extension plate, Inside the Looper Cover there is a handy storage of tools including pack of needles, small screw driver, tweezers, upper looper converter, needle threader, and needle inserter/lint brush.If I had any critique of the Juki MO735 would be the Instruction Manual. In my research I learned this to be a problem, that the manual is not intuitively laid out. However, there is a threading chart to be found at AllBrands website, if you look at Juki mo735 there. It should have a pdf link to save and download. I found this to be absolutely essential when learning to thread this machine because the diagrams are large enough to define detail which is hard to see in the Juki manual. Once I threaded the machine a half dozen times in various stitch patterns, it was very easy to learn new threading variations. As a promotion through Juki, my machine came with eight additional pressure feet including a blind hem foot, an elasticator, gathering, beading, curve/pearl, cording, and piping foot. Normally, the pressure foot accessories at optional and cost about $185 for the entire set of 8. Maintenace is straight forward. I regularly clean away lint which accumulates easily and oiling is required in two specific places on the upper looper arm. The manual is very clear about maintenance. Finally, to get perspective, I am fairly new to the world of sergers, though have been sewing for many years. I was not in the least intimidated by this machine. As I add more hours using it, I will return to update my experience.

U.S. Praxis Portable Stump Grinder - 160cc HP Honda GX160 Engine, Model# PRX50 Review

(More customer reviews)We purchased the Praxis PRX50 last week for use in removing stumps from our property as we clear brush.Under its previous owner, much of our acreage became overrun with yaupon, cedar and other small trees and shrubs, and now we spend great effort clearing the brush away and restoring our beautiful pastures and forest.The work is very difficult, but only after the stumps are removed are the cleared areas truly maintainable in the future.For years I've removed the stumps by hand (axe, grubbing hoe and many hard hours of labor), and I've always wanted an easier and faster way to accomplish the task.

The Praxis PRX50 is unique in its size and price.At about 105 lbs, its very easy for my wife and I to lift, and when necessary I can move it myself (all other stump grinders we could find are much heavier).As well, the price of the PRX50 is *well* below any other machine we could find.Both of these factors result from the smaller footprint and engine of the PRX50 (only 5.5hp, while most other grinders are 10hp and above, and are physically larger).We decided upon the PRX50 because it was affordable and so incredibly portable.

The majority of stumps we have to remove are under 6" across, and within a small area we typically have dozens of such stumps.While I'm certain that more horsepower would result in faster grinding, the 5.5hp engine on the PRX50 provides ample power for our personal needs, and its light weight makes it uniquely nimble when moving quickly from stump to stump. I can remove a 3" stump in less than 30 seconds, and a 6" stump in less than 4 minutes.An area of stumps that previously required more than a day to clear by hand now requires less than an hour with very little effort -- and with better results.

The Praxis appears to be well built.The machine is fairly simple, and is made from very sturdy, quality materials throughout.It appears that maintenance is limited to the usual engine maintenance (a standard Honda 5.5hp engine), and occasional sharpening of the grinding teeth.After two days of using the machine, the teeth haven't dulled much -- especially the sides of the teeth where the real cutting is done.It seems that I'll get many more days of grinding before having to sharpen the teeth (I can either do it myself, or pay Praxis $20 to do it for me).

I would eagerly recommend the PRX50 for anyone looking for a highly affordable, highly portable stump grinder.If I were a landscaper wanting to remove sizeable stumps, and if time was a issue, and if I had a crew to help me move my equipment, I'd probably choose a machine with more horsepower.However, because it is just my wife and I to do the work, we simply can't effectively use equipment that is too heavy and unwieldy.The PRX50 perfectly fits our needs, and its capabilities are perfectly suited to the very large task that we have for it!The PRX50 is a real pleasure -- thank you Praxis!
